Detailed Item Information

The One Strings Turbine 275g is a very light and speedy option for 3.0 - 4.5 level players. At 10.4 ounces this one moves through the strike zone almost effortlessly. As such the Turbine 275g is suitable for players looking for an easier path to pace and spin. The response is crisp, lively and very accurate, with an open 16x19 pattern that puts a nice grip on the ball and makes the player feel very plugged into the shot. From the baseline this one is built for speed. We also think it's versatile enough to allow developing players to either attack the ball or settle into a consistent groove.

At the net, Turbine specializes in reaction volleys and quick exchanges. And the maneuverability makes it great for jumping all over floaters. Service returns are another area where this racquet's speed shines, especially for the player who likes to step inside the court and punish second serves.

Ultimately, the Turbine should work well for a wide crop of beginners and intermediates who want a light option which accelerates at will. Please Note: we list a larger tension range than is listed on the racquet, which lists the range in the 40s and is more suitable to stiffer polys.

Description

Included is a previously-owned racquet and 4 3/8 grip. Vibration stopper sold separate. The racquet has dents, scratches, scuffs, discoloration, and general usage wear. Photos are of the actual product.

This is a Powerful Control Racquet, which are characterized by Mid Size head, weight around 300g, thicker beam, even (or slightly head heavy) balance, stiffer frame. These rackets are control based, but are quite powerful at the same time. Classic rackets in this category are the Babolat Pure Drive range or the Babolat Aeropro range of rackets. Powerful Control racquets are recommended for all player types. They provide a mixture of power and control (sometimes described as "tweener" rackets). They are suitable for physically strong or athletic beginners, intermediates who are likely to take a big swing at the ball, and advanced players looking for more power or topspin in their game, and first adult racket for juniors of all levels.
